Swiss Steel Portugal was founded in 2008 and is the sales office of our mills in Portugal. We have built a strong reputation for delivering optimal special steel solutions for our customers. Our local team in Rio de Mouro is ready to develop new solutions for your needs.

From semi-finished products to ready-to-use parts, we offer you all the products manufactured by the Swiss Steel Group. We also offer the following services at our site:

Cold Saw Cutting: Our capacity ranges from 10 mm diameter to block cutting 1000 mm high x 3500 mm wide x 4000 mm long with a maximum unit weight of 25,000 kg.

Machining: Our in-house machining department can save your company valuable time and money by machining your tool steel blocks completely to size. Whether you need 2, 4 or 6-sided machined parts, we can help. Our maximum piece weight is 2000 kg.

Grinding: We supply your tool steel plates and blocks, machined using our Lumsden Wash grinding machine. With a diameter of 1500 mm, the maximum grinding area is approximately 1050 x 1050 x 175 mm.
